An oil painting on canvas of a winter landscape by Richard Shelton. This piece depicts a pine forest clearing through which a peaceful stream cuts. The water is frozen and the ground and trees are covered with a light covering of snow. Through the haze in the distance a group of mountain peaks is visible. It is signed to the lower right corner and presented in a wood frame that is wired for hanging.

- frame has surface wear; scuffs with color loss on both sides of frame.
