After Qi Baishi Hand Painted Chinese Hanging Scroll on Paper "Massive Peaches"

A hand painted Chinese scroll on paper after an original painting titled Massive Peaches by influential Chinese artist Qi Baishi (齊白石, 1864–1957). This expressive piece features a branch of a peach tree laden with brightly colored fruit. There is calligraphy to the left edge and two red artist’s seals to the lower edge. This piece is presented with a wooden dowel to the lower edge and a silk tie for fastening the scroll to the upper edge.
Condition
- creasing throughout; toning and stains to paper, especially to edges, silk tie is frayed at ends.
