Late Victorian Bypass Bracelet Featuring Carved Onyx Cameo

Item Details

A Victorian gold filled bypass bracelet. The center spring mechanism features a carved onyx cameo bearing a likeness of Ceres or Demeter, on an elegant framed setting. Wire bands each feature ornate finial ends to top, and meet at bottom to form closure. This piece is marked ‘PAT. DEC. 16, 1879’ to center mechanism.
