Item Details
A framed Swedish architecture engraving on paper. This intaglio print depicts two scenes of the fronts of grand buildings. The top scene features dozens of soldiers marching in regimented parade blocks in front of an imposing building. The lower scene depicts scores of merchants with horse drawn carts ascending and descending large ramps connecting the entrance of another large building with the lower street level. Swedish language text is present above both architectural images. The print is presented under glass with a French mat in a gold tone wood frame. A hanging wire is mounted to the verso.
