Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by T. Herskind. This depicts a woman, dressed in a long brown coat with fur cuffs and collar, and red woolens, standing in a snow covered landscape. Skis and ski poles are balanced standing up on the right and there is a row of dark evergreen trees across the center of the composition. It is signed in the bottom right and presented in a bronze tone wood and gesso frame that is strung for hanging.
Condition
- canvas has lost some tension; stretcher marks with cracking in some areas; darkening to varnish; scattered foxing; chipping and stains to frame finish.
