An original oil on canvas painting of two women. This double portrait depicts two seated women at work sewing in a brown room. The larger woman in the back faces to the right, while a smaller woman seated at her feet faces forward. The work is initialed ‘DS’ in the lower right corner. It is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a hanging string attached to the verso.
