A giclee print on paper of an original painting titled The Master Stroke: Jack Nicklaus driving at the 9th ‘Punchbowl’ Hoylake, Cheshire in the British Open Championship 1967 by sports artist Arthur Weaver (1918 – 2008). This print depicts a golfer in mid-swing on a gold course surrounded by viewers. The print is titled, features a remarque of a golfer, signed in plate, and signed by hand in graphite, all to the lower margin of the main image. Mounted under a layer of woven cane matting, the print is presented under glass in a stained wood frame with a wire present to the verso for hanging purposes.
Condition
- upper margin of the mat is somewhat warped and buckled.
