A pair of oil paintings on board of still lifes. Included is a painting of a couple brown birds nipping at some fruit, set in front of a vague blue and beige background. The painting is illegibly signed to the lower right. Some handwriting and a stamp from Benjamans Art Gallery are present to the verso. The work remains unframed. Also included is a painting on canvas board of a peach, set in front of a dark blue background. This work is not signed and remains unframed.
Condition
- some paint loss and scratch marks along edges of both painting; small spots of paint loss and spot stains scattered throughout painting of birds; wear along edges of bird painting including rips, small chips, and dents; stains throughout verso of bird painting; tape remnants along lower edge of bird painting.
