A Thimble Drome Prop Rod tether car, produced by the L. M. Cox Manufacturing Company circa the 1960s. This plastic toy car is operated by a combustion engine which turns a propeller mounted at the rear of the car. The underside of the car is marked ‘Thimble Drome Made in U.S.A. ’Prop Rod’’.
