Item Details
A copy oil painting on canvas of a still life after a work by Winslow Homer. The piece depicts a scene of loose cream and pink roses laid delicately across a tabletop. It presents in a giltwood frame with a tag to the center incorrectly attributing the artist as ‘Winslow Homer 1836-1910.’ The piece does not appear to be signed to the front but the stretcher is marked in block pencil ‘W. Homer’. There is a mounting wire to the verso.
