Vintage Korean Apothecary Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage Korean apothecary cabinet. This rectangular top cabinet with a mahogany finish features two pierced cabinet doors with decorative brass tone plates and ring handle opening to sixteen petite drawers with ring handles over two aligned drawers with bail handles. The pierced doors open on brass tone hinges with a butterfly motif. The central section of this piece features four stacked, full width drawers with decorative corner hardware and butterfly shaped plates over two cabinet doors above a serpentine apron rising on curved legs terminating on plank feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
