A mid-century Murano ‘wedding cake’ beaded necklace. This piece is composed of egg-shaped milky-white glass beads decorated in the intricate fiorato manner of Murano, Venice. Each lampworked bead presents golden-colored avventurina created of copper microcrystals, and applied rosebuds and forget-me-nots. The off-round glass spacer beads are clear with milky whorls, with the gold-tone barrel clasp unmarked.
