A collection of Roger Tory Peterson porcelain Songbird Eggs. The collection contains five eggs, which feature transfer-printed images after original naturalist drawings by Peterson. Included are images of a Baltimore oriole (1995); a mockingbird; a bobolink pair; a cardinal pair (1995); and a pair of barn swallows (1995). Each is depicted amid foliage natural to their environment, with gilded embellishment above and below, along with Peterson’s transfer-printed signature. Made by the Danbury Mint, they are marked on the backs and undersides.
