Item Details
A grouping of three vintage watercolor and gouache illustrations on paper and paper board by Isabel Burton. These advertising style pieces depict a grand piano with text reading ‘G.I. Fischer Pianos’, a rectangular Coca-Cola ad with a beach umbrella and blank lines for text, and a fashion plate style piece, with a woman modelling a long skirt and sleeveless blouse. Each piece is presented unframed, and bears an inscription to the verso with the artist’s information and dates in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
Condition
- worn edges and corners; paint is cracked on “G.I. Fischer Pianos” painting; toning to paper.
