A woodblock print on paper titled The Death’s-Head Moth, originally published in The National Magazine by Kent & Co., London. This black and white scientific study presents a species of the death’s head hawk moth in the foreground, with the caterpillar on a branch and deadly nightshade flowers in the background. It is presented under a periwinkle mat and glass, in an ornate wood and gesso frame with hanging wire affixed to the verso.

- light wear to frame finish; dust to glass; slight wrinkling to print.
