Item Details

A set of two 1974 Austin Productions chalkware statuettes after designs by Czech-American sculptor Klara Sever (born 1935). Featured is Flapper, a tall stylized female figure depicted in 1920s attire painted with a terra cotta finish. The figure stands on a rounded base marked ‘Austin Prod Inc 1974’. Also featured is a matching male figure titled Gatsby. It stands on a square base marked ‘Austin Prod Inc ’74’.

Condition

- to Fair; crack to leg of male figure that has been repaired; chip to collar of female figure; overall light chipping, scuffing and surface wear to both.
