A pair of carved wooden side chairs. Each features a carved crest rail with a shell patera, with two carved crossbars in the ladder-back style. The detachable rush seats rise on two cabriole front legs, joined by a box stretcher with a carved shell ornament in the wide front stretcher, and resting on two whorl feet.
