A Chippendale style floral sofa by Southwood Furniture. This sofa features an arched back with high rolled arm rests on walnut marlborough legs. The settee is custom upholstered in a cream polished chintz fabric with blue, yellow and taupe floral accents, having a single seat cushion with feather insert. Marked with a sewn in label to the base reading ‘Southwood Hickory, North Carolina’, and a second label by the ‘Leugers’ furniture store.
