David T. Smith Curly Maple China Cabinet

A custom-made china cabinet from the workshop of the David T. Smith company of Morrow, Ohio. This handcrafted piece includes a large hutch with crown molding to the top and two glass paneled doors to the front. The doors open to reveal a pale yellow painted interior comprised of two shelves with beadboard backing. The lower cabinet features three drawers along the top with oil rubbed bronze pulls and handmade dovetail construction. The two cabinet doors below open to reveal a large interior storage space; all raised on four gracefully curved bracket feet. This piece is hallmarked to the back ‘David Smith & Co. Cabinetmakers & Grainers, Morrow, OH.’
