David T. Smith Cherry Armoire

A custom-made armoire from the workshop of the David T. Smith company of Morrow, Ohio. With natural wood grain throughout, the chest includes two flat panel top doors that open to reveal a large open storage area; it has a single hole to the center bottom for cords. The lower portion includes two half drawers and three full-size drawers, all with handcrafted dovetail joinery and round metal knobs, raised atop bracket style feet. This piece is hallmarked to the back David Smith & Co. Cabinetmakers & Grainers, Morrow, OH.
