Power Loomed Indian Bokhara Area Rug

A power loomed Indian Bokhara area rug. This wool rug features Tekke-style and Chemche guls across the field in a palette of red, black and white. The primary border has starburst medallions flanked by guard borders with a rosette pattern. It has a Dyrnak panel to the ends and is finished with overcast applied selvedge edges, a kilim skirt and warp fringe at either end. A tag marked ‘India’ is attached to the underside.
