Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz wool area rug measuring approximately 4’ W x 6’ L. The rug features a large floral pendant medallion on a cream colored field populated with filler palmettes and floral elements. The layered fields are detailed with a dense floral design and scrolling vine work in a palette of cream, navy, black, grey, taupe, and red. Enclosing the field is a compound border of florals and geometrics in a complementary palette. It has overcast edges and the ends are finished with a short wool warp fringe. Tagged to reverse.
