Item Details

A pair of 19th century daguerreotype portraits, presented in pocket-sized cases. These portraits are of an infant girl, and an infant boy, and are presented inside gilt frames with scrolling vine embellishments. They are housed inside of leather cases with embossed covers and red velvet interiors, decorated with acanthus leaves and flowers.

Condition

- the cases are worn and the binding is loose.
- On one case, the top cover is hanging on by threads.
- Pictures are cloudy and spotted.
