A Japanese woodblock print on paper after Aoyama Masaharu’s (青山正治, 1893-1969) Bamboo and Nandina (竹と南天). The print depicts bamboo alongside nandina, also known as ‘heavenly bamboo’, in a snow covered landscape. The piece reproduces the artist’s ‘Ao’ (青) seal in the lower left corner. It is matted under glass, and set in a black wooden frame.
