The image depicts a white-haired man seated on a throne adorned with dragon heads, wearing lavish, colorful robes and a headdress. The painting is mounted within a cream-colored foliate silk brocade, under glass in a wood frame with brass corner accents and custom hanger attached to the top leg of frame.

- notable discoloration and accretion across portrait and brocade. Water damage to bottom edge. Frame is worn.
