A Chinese carved cork landscape scene. Depicted is a delicately carved house and gazebo surrounded by trees, vegetation and wildlife. It is housed in a black wooden display frame with glass to both sides. It comes with a decorative black wooden stand. The piece is unmarked but includes a card from the Smithsonian Institution about Chinese arts and crafts.
