1964 French Acrylic Painting on Canvas of Musicians Performing
Item Details
A 1964 French acrylic painting on canvas. The Modernist piece depicts three musicians playing and singing around a central microphone fitted with a red logo to the stand. The male figures are shown playing guitar, banjo and mandolin against a mottled amber-colored background. The work is signed and dated in black paint to the lower right; however, no clear artist attribution could be made. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
