A wood engraving on paper of a French lady with imagery featured in a circa 1888 print, published by Boussod, Valadon & Cie. Depicted is a French aristocratic lady in a rich interior receiving a letter from an Indian servant, dressed in exotically hybridized livery. Not visibly marked by the publisher or artist. Housed under a double layer of silver-tone and blue matting and a layer of white foam core board. Wrapped in protective plastic.

- wear to the corners; areas of torn and scratched plastic; dust on plastic.
