A room-sized semi-antique Persian Tabatabe Tabriz hand-knotted wool on cotton area rug. It exhibits a bold red field with a large central medallion which is enclosed. Also adorning the field are several urn-potted floral arrangements, tulip-shaped blooms, and more. Surrounding the field, there is a thick border with foliage, palmettes, and lanceolate along with a pair of carnation guard borders. Either end finishes with a short cotton tassel fringe.
