A semi-antique Persian Viss Heriz hand-knotted wool on cotton area rug. The runner exhibits an orange field with a star-motif central medallion. Also adorning the field are potted urns, blossoming flowers, animals, and more. The corners have stepped spandrels in off-white with additional motifs. There are several enclosing borders featuring the carnation design along with alternating colored star motifs. Either end finishes with a short cotton tassel fringe.
