Albert Hirschfeld Limited Edition Etching of Charlie Chaplin

A limited edition etching on paper by Albert Hirschfeld (1903 – 2003), circa 1975. The print depicts an exaggerated caricature of English comic actor, Charlie Chaplin (1889 – 1977). The etching is numbered 8 of an edition of 150 and signed by the artist to the lower margin. It is presented under glass and a light brown mat; set in a wooden frame with veneer. This etching was displayed in F. Scott’s of Georgetown.

Condition

- drill holes to sides of frame; scratches to frame; dirt under glass; print was not examined outside of frame; light foxing to paper.
