Item Details

A semi-antique Persian hand-knotted wool on cotton Serapi area rug attributed to the Tabriz region. It features a lozenged red field adorned with a floral central medallion with complimentary pendants. Along the field’s edge there are alternating turtle styled accents and more floral filler motifs. Enclosing the field is a gold and yellow border with fan-shaped florettes. Either end finishes with a short cotton tassel fringe.
