Semi-Antique Persian Hand-Knotted Lilihan Runner Rug
Item Details
A semi-antique Persian hand-knotted wool on cotton runner rug attributed to the Lilihan and Sarouk region. The runner features an abrashed steel gray field with repeating herati motifs in red, pink, off-white, and blues. Enclosing the field, is an alternating border of boteh in white, blue, yellow, red, blue, and pink. There is a second, larger border showcasing vertical leaf motifs in various colors. Either end finishes with a short cotton tassel fringe.
