An oil painting on canvas titled Still Life on Floral Print Cloth by well-listed American artist Edgar Yaeger (1904-1997), created in 1934. This still life arrangement includes a table set with flowers in a round vase, a coffee cup and a saucer, and patterned fabric draped behind the table. The work is portrayed in a post-impressionist style with vibrant colors, thick dark outlines, and an overall sense of flatness throughout the composition. It is signed and dated in orange to the lower right. The composition is presented in a gold-tone wood frame. Present to the verso are a couple descriptive labels and a short bio of the artist from Cincinnati Art Galleries.

Known for his modern abstract style and his WPA murals of the Depression era, Edgar Yaeger was influenced by European modernists such as Paul Cézanne, Pablo Picasso, and Giorgio de Chirico. His work has been exhibited at many institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, the Corcoran Gallery, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, among others.

- craquelure throughout painting; composition has been relined with canvas; wear in frame includes stains, discoloration, and gilt loss throughout; frame is backed with foam board.
