A circa 1950s watercolor painting on paper by an anonymous artist. The landscape work depicts a peaceful waterfront with several trees growing along the shoreline. The unsigned piece is presented under glass in a brown and black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. The backing paper includes a mid-century sticker from Wiley’s Art Store of Hartford, Connecticut, as well as a handwritten notation of ‘Vera Friend, 1958’.

Condition

- to Fair; toning and foxing to paper; scratching, nicks and scuffing throughout frame; small holes and water stains to backing paper.
