Item Details
A large collection of vintage vanity items. The collection includes three mirrored glass vanity trays, one round with a gold tone pierced rim, one rectangular and one oval. The rectangular mirror comes with sawtooth hangers affixed to the underside or back. There is a variety of clear, molded glass vanity jars, including one marked ‘Avon’. There is a white opaque glass dish with a cast metal pedestal base. A pair of round hand-painted shakers featuring pink and blue floral motifs is labeled ‘Fine China Exclusively For Ben Rickert Inc. Made in Japan’. A vintage white jar with a pink and turquoise metal lid and base is labeled ‘Lady Esquire Duplex Patent Leather Softener’, featuring instructions on the underside. A hand-painted ceramic nightlight features a design of a cart filled with red carnation flowers and green leaves. It has a white cord with a switch, and rests on a metal base marked ’Underwriter’s Laboratories Inc. – Portable Lamp – Issue No. B-4178 – Aladdin Giftware L.A., Calif.’ Two plastic drinking cups are embellished with hand-painted flowers. Also included is a small, unmarked, opaque white perfume bottle with a pink and white cap.
