Antique George II Oak Chest-on-Stand

Item Details

An antique George II oak chest-on-stand. The chest features a rectangular top with a molded cornice above two aligned, dovetailed drawers over three long drawers. The cockbeaded fronts are fitted with brass escutcheons and bail handles. The chest rests on a later, associated stand with a scalloped apron and four square legs.
