This stylized, modern style painting presents a view looking up at a city from a street, with an arched bridge in the lower foreground and buildings rising up against the expressive sky. The painting is rich with texture and layered, vibrant colors, with impasto to the sky. The work is signed in red paint to the lower right. It is presented under a linen liner in a painted wood frame with hanging wire affixed to the verso.
