A pair of mid-century costume brooches by Art, a jewelry manufacturer active from 1950-1980. One brooch is designed as a tiered radiating star form, featuring a green glass cabochon centering a pattern of thin arms set with colorless rhinestones, overlaying wider lobes enhanced with imitation gemstones, faux seed pearls, and small, clear green stones. The insect brooch offers round faceted rhinestones in green, amber, yellow, and orange. Both pieces are stamped ‘ART©,’ a maker’s mark in use after 1955.
