Hand-Painted Chinese "Cockerel" Porcelain Coffee Set
Item Details
A Chinese porcelain coffee set, in the Cockerel pattern. The group consists of a cylindrical coffee pot, six coffee cans and saucers, and a cream pot with a sugar bowl. The pieces feature a colorful Cockerel pattern, produced since the eighteenth century, that depicts grazing cockerels. Each piece is marked in red to underside, ‘Hand-Painted Decoration, Made In China’.
