A hand-knotted Isfahan area rug. This wool rug features a vase with birds and floral sprays reaching throughout the field that is accented by corner spandrels. The primary border offers an alternating flower box pattern flanked by guard borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges and a braided cotton fringe at either end. A tag is attached to the reverse.
