Hitoshi Kiyohara Woodblock Prints on Paper of Children Playing
Item Details
A collection of four woodblock prints on paper titled Scenes From the Life of the Children in Four Seasons by Japanese artist Hitoshi Kiyohara (1896-1956). This collection includes children playing with a kite in spring, playing with a balloon in winter, viewing the moon in autumn, and playing in the snow in the winter. The prints are signed in red to the lower right of each piece, and presented under a single blue mat with four windows and glass, in a wood frame with hanging wire and an informational label to the verso.
Condition
- slight toning to paper and buckling to prints.
