A signed, limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled Pittsburgh: Water Street by Gaslight in 1899 by marine artist John Stobart (born 1929). This print depicts Pittsburgh landmarks including Richardsonian Court House, the Duquesne University tower, and the Monongahela House Hotel. The print is titled, signed in plate, signed by hand in graphite, labeled with the names of the buildings and numbered 653 in an edition of 850, all to the lower margin. Mounted under a layer of blue matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame with a white liner and gold tone fillet. A wire for hanging purposes and a pair of framer’s decals are present to the verso.
