John Ruthven Signed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph "Giant Pandas"

A signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original watercolor by well-listed and renowned American wildlife artist and naturalist, John A. Ruthven (Cincinnati; born 1924), titled Giant Pandas, plate III of the artist’s Safari Series. Artist signature is signed in plate and in pencil to the lower right; print is numbered 739/5000 in pencil to lower left margin. This work is mounted behind a linen liner with a pale green fillet, under glass in a beveled wood frame with a green and distressed gilt finish, equipped to hang. Original label for print is attached to the verso, as well as a gilt foil Closson’s Gallery sticker.
Condition
- light rippling across top margin of print. Frame is worn.
