Mid Century Renoir and Matisse Copper Earrings

Item Details

A group of copper jewelry from Renoir of California. The enameled circular earrings were manufactured circa 1952-1964, and are marked ‘©Renoir’ and ‘Matisse’ to reverse. The other two pairs have modernist forms with black enameling to low points. These are marked simply script ‘Renoir’ to reverse closure, and were made in the late 1940s to early 1950s.

- minor markings throughout, with some wear to black enamel of modernist pairs.
