English Crown Ducal "Woodwind" China
Item Details
A set of English china by Crown Ducal in the Woodwind pattern. This set includes two oval serving platters in graduated sizes, four handled soup bowls, four teacups, four bowl-like saucers, a cream pitcher, and a sugar bowl with a lid. The pattern has a strawberry floral pattern within a yellow band on a white background; each piece has a scalloped edge and gilt trim. Several pieces are marked ‘B, Trademark Ducal, Made in England, ’Woodwind’’ to the verso; other pieces are marked ‘B, Made in England’ to the verso.
Condition
- crazing to glaze; light residue throughout; hairline crack to one soup bowl; chip to rim of sugar bowl.
