Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of an abstract composition. With a few tan accents, this grisaille work features a large area of textural splotches and frothy gray shades juxtaposed with a smaller area of smooth gradated gray shades applied in vertical brushstrokes. No signature was found on the painting. Some handwriting to the verso reads ‘For Elizabeth from the Artist Jason Bunn & the Dealer…Barry Johnson 5/1/2004’. The work is presented in a gold-tone and silver-tone wood frame with carved accents at the corners.
Condition
- some wear in frame includes scratches, stains, gilt loss, and discoloration throughout.
