Vintage Viking Moon Phase Grandfather Clock
Item Details
A vintage grandfather clock by Viking with a hand crafted case. The large sized clock features a wooden case that is stained a medium cherry color. The hood features a broken pediment with center finial and glazed glass front door below flanked by swelled columns. The face is gold tone in color with Arabic numbers and features an hour and minute hand. An arched area above the clock face depicts the moon phases. The case has a glass front door that opens to reveal a brass lyre form pendulum with three brass cased weights. The paneled base rests on a scalloped apron. The interior of the clock plate is stamped ‘V/Franz Hermle/No (0) Jewels/Unadjusted/Made In Germany/1161-853 CSK/94CM/66.00’. A winding key is included.
