Item Details

A Japanese wakizashi sword. This piece features a metal blade that is attached to a composite material handle that is covered in a matte black nylon wrapping. Included with the wakizashi is a polished black wooden saya scabbard and features a nylon strap in the same tone as the handle wrapping. There are no maker’s or artisan’s marks present on these pieces.

Condition

- tarnishing present on the brass accents; rust and dulling present on the blade of the wakizashi; various degrees of surface wear and residue present on the pieces.
