Signed 1936 Hungarian Hand-Colored Etching "Boldogiak"
Item Details
An original 1936 Hungarian Folk Art etching with hand-coloring titled Boldogiak, or Happiness, signed illegibly in pencil to the lower right. The image depicts a simple rendering of a woman and man dressed in their wedding clothes on their wedding day, each of them adorned with flowers and ribbons on their heads and figures. This charming work is mounted under white mat, behind glass in a narrow beveled wood frame with a white finish, equipped to hang. A Suder’s Art Store sticker is attached to the verso.
Condition
- discoloration across print and matting. Finish of frame is worn.
